On this course you will gain fluency in reading New Testament Greek, and a greater knowledge of the structures of Greek grammar.
Text: St John's Gospel, starting at the beginning. The course also includes grammar revision.
-demonstrate an extended knowledge of the grammatical structure of Greek
-demonstrate a knowledge and appreciation of St John's Gospel.
You should have done one or two years of New Testament or Classical Greek. As this course is taught in English, you should be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English and also take part in class and group discussions on readings. Please look at the rest of the course outline carefully to decide if you may benefit from support with your English skills to help you take part fully in this class.
Please note, students are expected to participate in oral classroom activities and to do some homework as and when required.
