Improves confidence in French conversation, especially when visiting France, also in class.
May I add that the TV doesn't always function - probably because different tutors use it. Otherwise tutor and room 116 excellent. Would appreciate another class for the month of July.

I have just finished this course, I enjoyed it as there were many everyday readings or TV information given away each lesson. Text was handed a week before so there was enough time to prepare for lesson. Teacher was good too, we even reviewed grammar once. Everybody in class had a chance to speak.
I am considering to take this course on fall term.

The tutor is an inspirational teacher and he brings an enthusism to convey the daily life and culture of france in a relaxed but precise manner.
Every week he introduced a new sight to the culture and politics of France, encouraged the students to express their views, helped them with expanding their vocabulary and improve their grammatical understanding.

Whilst in any class of this nature there are going to be the more advanced pupils the tutor does not forget the laggers but encourages them to come out of their shell...make the mistakes and improve their conversational and structural knowledge of the language.
I would greatly recommend this class for anyone looking to further their knowledge of not only the french language but also the culture daily life of the country. Also it is a great opportunity to bring together all the concepts learned individually in the more structured classes and be able to express yourself in a more natural everyday speech style.
I certainly am looking forward to learning more in the next two terms.
