The couse was excellent and did everything it said on the tin but I was over-ambitious and it was a bit beyond me. The teacher was a delight, the students supportive. It might have been an idea if every lesson one or two students did a presentation. That way I would have had to take part fully.

this course refreshes and improves my language skills. Each week is different. It makes me think hard and has improved my vocabulary and verbal skills a great deal.

The course is designed to revise and extend your knowledge of the French language with the help of a conscientious teacher. It is primarily for adults who understand the language when spoken by a native French speaker, and it builds on this base to extend your vocabulary via various forms of the media - newspaper articles, films, radio and television. Students are regularly given homework: this may involve written or oral work. Both forms are assessed and/or collected in the following week's lesson.
