This was a fantastically taught course that was interesting and covered a range of topics. I really enjoyed the challenge of launching back into learning French after a few years' hiatus since completing my French A level, and found that my French improved very quickly due to the immersion-style lesson delivery.
However, as advice for potential students, I would say that you really need to CURRENTLY have a standard of vocab and grammar that is equivalent to A level when you join the course. I took my A level 8 years ago, and naively thought I'd be able to slot right back in - wrong! I spent the first few lessons totally floundering as my knowledge just wasn't up to scratch, and I was way behind the standard of my fellow classmates. So, I would advise that if you want to take this course but haven't studied French in a few years, do plenty of home study first, or wait until you have done a lower-level refresher course to bring your vocabulary and grammar back up to scratch. This course is very good, and does improve your knowledge quickly, but it does require you to know your stuff before you start - don't make the same mistake I did!

Excellent revision of French for anyone that wants to carrying on studying at exam level. I've found this course extremely well structured and organized.
The tutor's hand outs were very comprehensive and the approach very good as well. Grammar revision was covered, but also listening, speaking and comprehension was given a large space. I would highly recommend this course to anyone studying for an exam, or as a good revision to take their studying further.
