Varied teaching methods, using games and work in groups and a friendly atmosphere in class made this an excellent and enjoyable introductory course, accurately described in the course description. It proceeded at the right pace for me: not too intense!

It had been six years since I studied German, and this course was the perfect re-introduction for me! The classes are relaxed, yet engaging and informative. There is a good mixture of small group activities, and individual work. The homework was exactly the right amount for me, and it really helped my understanding of what had been covered in the classes. I would highly recommend this course.

I thought that the classes worked very well. The teacher was able to explain the concepts very clearly and interactively. I also liked the textbook we used. One really good thing about the teacher was that she set essay homework which was an excellent way to get people thinking independently and practically about how they could communicate in German. This class was in all good value, well structured and effective (it was also better than another German class I attended before). I will definitely be attending the next level.
