Great course to either get you up and running with the basics of speaking german or equally a good way of refreshing previous skills! Recommend it to anyone who wishes to have a basic grounding in German.

The course is fast-track but not excessively so. The teacher is experienced, well organised and creates a supportive environment within the class and deals with all class members in a pleasant manner. The course is based on active learning through exercises and activities, supported by clear explanation of grammatical and other linguistic points. All students get to speak and participate and to know one another. The course book is well chosen and many materials are made available on Moodle, the City Lit VLE (note from City Lit: not all tutors use Moodle). A highly recommended coure for anyone who wants to learn German quite rapidly - 5-star rating!
