Homework is set (and marked) for those who wanted to do serious work, but there was absolutely no pressure on those who were too busy. A lot of class involvement and encouragement. Always fun.

Very well taught course, kudos to the teacher, who is very thorough and intense. The topics are well structured, hence things are kept at an interesting pace without feeling overwhelming.

Excellent course for anyone who wishes to improve their competence in German. The lessons are always interesting and cover a wide range of topics, building on grammar and vocabulary learned at A-level. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a challenge and who would like to progress beyond A-level German

The tutor is an exceptional teacher. Plenty of variety in class and big emphasis on topical subjects so you pick up really useful vocabulary/idiomatic expressions.

This was an ideal course for me as, although I have studied German beyond A level, I have not used it for some years. Each lesson covered a particular grammar topic, backed up with reading, exercises and group discussion. We also discussed current affairs and watched news clips and short videos. The teacher was brilliant and made the lessons really interesting, as well as giving us plenty of opportunity to speak German.

This is an excellent German course, with a conscientious, well-prepared and engaging teacher. I heartily recommend it to those with a relatively high level of German (roughly A-level standard)

This course is made by the teacher - she is exceptionally well prepared with interesting topics to discuss and a variety of inputs to consider. I have learned more than German! Lots of interaction with the others in class too.
