This course aims to introduce students to the basic aspects of the Italian language and to enable them to take part in simple conversations.
Topics: greetings; introductions; alphabet and spelling; numbers; the time; say how you are; the restaurant; leisure activities; likes and dislikes. Grammar: verbs to be, to have, to go; informal and formal ways of addressing people; negative.

-exchange personal information (name, nationality, job etc)
-ask and give the time
-order food at the restaurant
-talk about leisure activities
-express likes and dislikes.
