I came into the class with absolutely no experience of Italian but, by the end of the course, I left confident (and motivated) enough to continue on to the next module. The class moves quickly enough that it keeps your interest but not so fast that you find yourself struggling. I would recommend buying a dictionary though (which is not advised in the course outline) as it proves invaluable during homework.

I was unable to attend the whole course due to ill health and personal circumstances. The tutor was extremely supportive and her help was exemplary.
The course itself had pace , interest and was extremely well planned. it contained a good mix of individual , pair and group activities.
Delivery was excellent. Queries were dealt with promptly and the tutor provided handouts on any aspects missed. The tutor kept in touch by e mail during absence. The level of support was as good as that received on full time courses. I cannot commend this course and tutor enough.

I was extremely disappointed with this course that I felt was not at all tailored for beginners. I came away and felt that I had not learnt anything. I was expecting to come away with some basic language in order to speak in Italy but I found the teacher concentrated far too much on verbs and catered for those in the class which were too advanced to be on a beginners course. Disappointing!

Course was very good and teaching was amazing.

A really great course with a supportive, helpful teacher. There is only about 10 of us on the course so a lot interaction with the teacher and each other. I've done a lot of 'night classes' and this is by far the best value for money - only about 10 of us in the class!

Very interesting course, you study language and also getting to know Italian culture, food etc. The teacher is also motivating!

A really good start to learning Italian. There's lots of speaking and listening, with some help on grammar points. Lots of class interaction between other course members and the tutor. Loads of helpful hints on pronunciation.
