This was an enjoyable course with an excellent and very experienced native speaker. The teacher used good differentiation techniques to stretch learners working at a slightly higher level, whilst supporting learners who were experiencing difficulties. Her explanations were extremely clear and she welcomed questions at all times. She was also willing to mark writing completed out of class.

The only drawback of the course is that in a class of this size (20+) opportunities for speaking practice are a little limited.

Other members of the group were extremely welcoming and supportive, and the atmosphere in the City Lit is vibrant and exciting.
