Had a lovely time this term. The class was a varied selection of enthusiastic folks and the classes were well structured and covered a pleasing amount of grammar and exercises. I really felt for our tutor - seeing as we all seemed very tired and quiet on a Thursday evening! - but she was great and I'm happy to continue into the new year.

The pace, content and quality of teaching were all excellent. I'm very glad I've already signed up for the whole year, as I think it's (justly) popular!

I have had many good experiences on courses at City Lit and the third year of Italian is one of the best courses I have been on. It is sometimes challenging - speaking Italian, the listening exercises and some of the reading has been quite hard - but the course is very well taught at an appropriate pace and contains a nice variety of activities. The teacher speaks in Italian nearly all of the time, which is an excellent listening exercise in itself and only uses English when it is easier to explain in her students' native tongue. I would recommend the course without hesitation. It is both stimulating and interesting.

Being in my fourth year of studying Italian with City Lit I know that the teacher makes the world of difference - The tutor who taught this class is excellent; clear but challenging and very willing to tailor the class to the challenges sought by each student.

The teaching is very clear and sympathetic. I feel challenged but can always ask questions. I feel I have progressed this term.
