I didn't speak a word of Greek at the start of the course, and went in like a rabbit in headlights. The teacher made an extra effort to make me feel comfortable, and while learning a new language isn't easy, her teaching style and encouraging approach has helped me on my way. Lessons are well organised and structured, with resources at hand and a set topic for each class, which is revisited over the weeks. Everyone gets a chance to speak as well as listen, and the classes are thoroughly enoyable. As usual at City Lit, the class fees are excellent value for money and I will be continuing with Modern Greek module 2.
