This course offers a comprehensive foundation to Russian focusing on grammatical structure to provide a basis to be able to speak, read and write Russian correctly. This was achieved through working through the course book and material provided by the tutor, a lot of role play exercises in spoken Russian, and a fair amount of homework. I completed all 3 modules of year 2, and my ability to understand, speak and write Russian has increased considerably, and has provided me with a firm basis to continue my Russian studies.
As compared to doing GCSE Russian at school it was a much more diverting and interesting way to learn Russian, the time just flies by in class. Also it was great to have a native Russian speaking tutor.
