The aim of this course is to help you improve and gain confidence in pronunciation, intonation and rhythm in the Spanish language. This workshop also aims to stimulate students' interaction in order to enable you to practise Spanish in an active way in which the involvement of body, gesture, creativity and games will play an important part.
Pronunciation, intonation and breathing techniques which will help you to better articulate your message.
- Identify and reproduce different and difficult sounds in Spanish
- Use appropriate intonation to express yourself
- Be more confident with Spanish pronunciation and get your message across.
Students should have studied Spanish for 3-4 years recently. Suitable if you are currently studying DELE Inicial, Spanish 3 lower or Spanish 3 upper. We recommend that you contact the languages office to have your level assessed. For further details of the specific foreign language skills required for this level, please see the languages self-assessment chart, using the link at the top of this page. The course is based on the communicative approach:
- active students’ interaction
- emphasis on speaking and listening skills
- pair and group work
