This course will prepare you for the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (nivel intermedio) in May. Based on tutor´s own materials. Grammar book: Uso de la Gramática Española: intermedio (Edelsa). Course fee includes non-refundable exam costs payable in advance. Course fees payable in two instalments.

Interviews consist of about 15 min of creative writing and a short interview in the target language.

To prepare students to sit the DELE Intermediate examination (Nivel Intermedio de Español) in May. This is a demanding course, which requires a considerable amount of self study.
Reading, writing, discussion and analysis of texts on specific topics related to contemporary Spain and Spanish-speaking countries. Practise complex grammatical points.

-Write and speak more accurately and confidently about specific topics/areas
-Express yourself with ease and a great range of vocabulary
-Sit the DELE Intermediate examination with confidence.
Stage 4 course - Students should have achieved an upper intermediate level of Spanish (5 years of Spanish). Interviews start from July. Please check the website for details and book early as places are limited. You can also find the chart at the start of the languages section in our course guide. You will also need to be able to understand basic spoken and written information in English (e.g. simple instructions, course documents) and be at ease with the use of numbers for daily activities (e.g. using money, telling the time etc).
The class will be conducted in Spanish. It will include: reading, discussion, analysis of texts, listening comprehension, grammar exercises. Authentic material will be used, including audio and video material. The lessons will concentrate on preparing students for the examination.
