This course is fun. It enables string and wind players as well as pianists to play together in different combinations with the tutor's excellent help. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing a wide range of music I could never have come across otherwise and learned much from the other players.

Other than in schools and universities it is not easy to meet people with who to play chamber music. Not many learners have the knowledge of the repertoire to be able quickly to produce works of the right level and combination of instruments for the people who happen to have come that day. This is what this course has done for me. I did not expect instrumental teaching - that is easy to get elsewhere. I did get valuable coaching on ensemble playing though and the enjoyment of playing with people of similar interests, many of them better players than I.
