How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

There will be classes devoted to particular topics in the Grade 1 and 2 Theory syllabus. Classes will include working examples with guidance from the tutor, for the whole class, in small groups and with one to one tuition. Homework will be set, marked and discussed to provide necessary practice and feedback. Textbooks used will include the Grade 1 or 2 Theory workbooks produced by the ABRSM or Trinity/Guildhall, the Eric Taylor Guide to Music Theory, some past papers,.
