For absolute beginners and for anyone not confident in singing. However, you must be able to hear notes from the piano and voice and sing them back at the correct pitch. If you are unsure about your ability to do this, please attend one of our advice sessions.
You will need to follow written and verbal instructions in English and engage in class discussions.
A physical and vocal warm-up will be followed by group singing. Eventually you may feel able to sing a solo or duet.
You are encouraged to practise for a minimum of 15 minutes daily.
Music will be provided at the beginning of the course, but you may be expected to provide your own sheet music later on.
Please bring a notebook, pen/pencil and folder for your music.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses.
