The course far exceeded my expectations and really opened my eyes to the world of photography practice. It was huge fun and I cant wait to sign up for more. Specifically this course was: 1) uplifting - by showcasing best portfolios in each photographic genre and discussing why they worked, and 2) motivating - by discussing techniques required to develop a narrative, create the images, edit them into a portfolio, and display them to an audience, 3) Fulfilling - because with peer and tutor review you own work was improved and a final portfolio produced (which impressed even my cynical friends). The tutor was hugely knowledgable, sharp, and had an engaging teaching style. The only improvement I would have liked is more 1 to 1 time with the tutor (but the sessions were too short) and easier to navigate online content.
