How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Through structured talks, lectures, demonstrations and practical work. Each student will have their own computer workstation which is used for practical work, and access to good quality scanners and printers. The digital arts studio also uses a computer projector for teaching and to view work by. All work is done at your own pace and follows an easily understood structure.
If you have little experience in using Macs we offer short courses on using Apple Mac computers for beginners and using Apple Macs for experienced PC users.

You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions to support demonstrations, hand-outs and for health and safety information, and will be invited to take part in group discussion. You should be able to use numbers and be able to do simple measurements and calculations.
