The course covers an introduction to the work environment and image manipulation tools, painting, cloning, selections, cropping, exposure adjustments and colour adjustments.
- Open, create and save files using different file formats.
- Use image manipulation tools to edit images
- Create simple montages of several images
- Alter the colour and tonal value of images.
For beginners to digital image manipulation. The course is taught on Apple Mac computers but PC users should not experience difficulty in swapping platforms.
You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions to support demonstrations, hand-outs and for health and safety information, and will be invited to take part in group discussion. You should be able to use numbers and be able to do simple measurements and calculations.
