This is a small class for students who have already developed skills in other Progress classes. The class will help you to move on in your learning, by helping you to work more independently. You will receivet support to plan your learning and to choose the best mainstream class in a subject you like.

You can achieve an Award (1 year) qualification in Personal Progress Entry 1, consisting of the following units:
- Units: Learning to Learn; Getting things done.
- Evaluate your skills and interests
- Move on from what you've already learnt
- Develop skills in working independently
- Work towards personal learning goals
- Try a mainstream class
You will negotiate with the tutor more specific outcomes, based on the above, to suit your ability and experience.

Yes. Before you can enrol on this course, you need to have an advisory interview with the relevant department. Without this the enrolment team will be unable to process your enrolment. Please contact the department to arrange your interview, or to find out about drop-in sessions.
You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Feedback from the tutor. Self assessment, supported by the tutor. Termly tutor reports. We will assess individual planned learning outcomes, and your personal goals, on Statements of Learning throughout the course.
Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses. Student feedback is encouraged throughout the course. All students have a personal tutor to whom they can give feedback about their courses. There will be an opportunity to evaluate your course at the end.
