An introduction to Person Centred art therapy skills
Applying the Person Centred approach to working with creative images.
The application of Person centred art therapy to an introductory level. The course is experiential and will offer insight into the use of art and images as a creative resource for personal development and the possibilities for its application within a professional context. It does not provide an introduction to training towards becoming an art therapist.

Students are expected to have knowledge and experience of Person Centred counselling training. The course is suitable for trainee counsellors, qualified counsellors and/or other professionals.
Information offered by the tutor, course handouts, group discussion, group process and a range of art imaging exercises facilitated by the tutor and peer group.
All materials are provided.
This course requires the completion of an application form.
You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. You will receive regular feedback from your tutor and peers both individually and through group discussion.
Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses.
