This is a two-day introductory workshop to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). NLP is an effective tool for communication and personal change. The course will give an overview on the history, principles and practical use of NLP.
The course will cover the development of NLP, the use of NLP in communication and how it can be used to facilitate personal change. A range of NLP techniques will be taught to provide students with an insight into its underlying principles.

The course is suitable for those who do not have any prior knowledge of NLP and are curious to gain some understanding of how it can be applied to ones everyday life. To benefit from this course, you need to have a reasonable level of spoken English. If you are unsure please see an advisor.
The workshop will include an overview on NLP, its history and development and a number of techniques will be demonstrated with the opportunity for participants to practise these in small groups.
There will be no additional costs. The course fee will cover a number of handouts that will be provided.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. You can expect your tutor to give you feedback both individually and through group discussion. At the end of the course you will be given the opportunity to complete a record of your achievements which will be verified by your tutor. You will also have the opportunity to reflect on your learning at the end of the course and to identify future learning goals.
