Open to all. Please bear in mind that you will gain more from this course if your understanding of English enables you to follow the presentations on the topic as well as the instructions for the skills exercise. You will increase your level of satisfaction on the course if your level of spoken English enables you to participate in the small and large group reflexive dialogue.
There will be theory supported by handouts and mixed media presentations. You are encouraged to find your own level of participation in facilitated experiential learning in small group and in the larger group dialogue. Follow your own desire to develop your own emotional literacy by continuing to practise the skills you will have learnt on the course.
You may wish to acquire and read Achieving Emotional Literacy by Claude Steiner (2004), London: Bloomsbury, but it is not a prerequisite for the course. You will be offered a reference list to assist you if you wish to further explore the topic. Please bring pen and paper if you wish to make notes.
