This course will examine core difficulties around the expression of anger. You will learn the key principles of powerful communication that will support the safe expression of anger and enable you to make your needs clear.

The course will focus on the challenge of expressing anger with others without being aggressive, Topics will include:
Primary and Secondary feelings
Different behaviour styles
Skills practice
Powere and vulnerability
Blame and responsibility.
Differentiate between Primary and Secondary feelings.
Use appropriate behaviour when expressing anger.
Be more confident about expressing your anger safely.
No prior training, experience or skills are necessary. The course is most suitable for students who wish to learn from others as well as the tutor. You will be able to use your experience and be able to keep these within the safety of the group.
Tutor input/ Exercises/Activities/ Role Play/ Group Discussion. . Students are asked to come willing to engage in self-exploration and to work experientially in small groups.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Students are expected to assess their own progress through reflection and feedback from others. Progress is often felt over time beyond the course and with practice in your personal lives. However, you will come away from the course with various practical tools to help you and with a better understanding of your trigger points.
