This workshop will look at why some of our homes or work spaces are overflowing with stuff and why it can be difficult to do anything about it. We will look at how we change our patterns for the better, leading to a calm and uncluttered home or work environment.

1. Identify your own unhelpful patterns around clutter.
2. List the benefits of changing your clutter pattern.
3. Design a personal de-clutter programme.
Open to anyone who wants to start de-cluttering or get going again.
As part of the course you will be asked to participate in discussion and
exercises to develop your skills fully.
Teaching input, discussion, small group work, journal writing, peer support through one to one discussion and feedback. You will be encouraged to put your skills and learning into practice once you have completed the course.
No specific costs although some further reading might be of use. Handouts relating to the course will be provided.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. Your progress is easy to measure. You will feel empowered to begin the de-clutter process. The results will speak for themselves! During the course itself you can expect your tutor to give you feedback both individually and through group discussion. At the end of the course you will be given the opportunity to complete a record of your achievements which will be verified by your tutor. You will receive regular feedback from your tutor as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses. You will be encouraged to comment and ask questions throughout the course.

De-cluttering can bring up issues for some people that might be able to be addressed through: life coaching, assertiveness training, self esteem raising or anger management.
