The course is at an introductory level and so you do not need any prior knowledge, but you do need to be open-minded and have a willingness to try things out. Please note this is not a course about business skills or how to start a business but instead is focussed on how to think in an enterprising way.
To benefit from this course you need to have a good level of spoken English. If you are unsure, please see an advisor.
The course is highly participative and interactive and will involve lots of exercises in pairs and small groups as well as class discussions. You will be encouraged to think outside your normal parameters of thinking and to be more ambitious with your ideas.
There will be no additional costs. The course fee will cover a number of specially-produced handouts.
No.
You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. You can expect your tutor to give you feedback both individually and through group discussion. At the end of the course you will be given the opportunity to complete a record of your achievements which will be verified by your tutor.
Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses. You will be asked to complete a course evaluation form at the end of the course. Your views are essential to planning future courses.
