The course will give you an overview and understanding of what coaching is. It will cover some of the basic coaching methods and approaches. You will have a chance both to experience being coached and coaching others.

Working on scenarios or personal issues you’ll have a chance to be coached and to coach others as well as to set some goals.

This course is designed for people who have no experience of coaching. Please note that during the workshop you'll be asked to take part in paired and group activities.
Interactive exercises, discussions, pair & group work, tutor input and hand-outs.
Some handouts will be provided. Please bring a pen and paper/notebook with you.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. You can expect your tutor to give you feedback both individually and through group discussion. At the end of the course you will be given the opportunity to complete a record of your achievements which will be verified by your tutor.
