Life Coaching is a powerful and empowering process enabling individuals to identify personal and professional goals and create action plans to achieve them. This course explores what coaching is, its uses and benefits, and some of the key tools and techniques involved. This course will help you whether you want to (a) identify & achieve goals for yourself, (b) use coaching tools to develop your staff or (c) train to become a life coach. The key focus is on the GROW model in coaching.

Apply one or more coaching tools, such as Gap Analysis and Ten Options, to help myself.
Open to all, no prior experience or knowledge required.
Many practical, interactive exercises involving discussion, self-assessment, using the GROW Model and Coaching Tools.
Please bring a pen and notebook with you. The trainer will provide handouts and worksheets to accompany the course exercises and content, and to support the learning. No advance reading required.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. You can expect your tutor to give you feedback both individually and through group discussion.
There will also be opportunities to evaluate for yourself how you are progressing in discussion and through questionnaires and self-assessments. You will also receive feedback from participants on the course during practical exercises and role play.
At the end of the course you will be given the opportunity to complete a record of your achievements which will be verified by your tutor.
Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses. The tutor will ask you about the value and learning derived from practical exercises and discussion from time to time. You will be asked to complete a course evaluation form at the end of the course. Your views are essential to planning future courses.
