The course is at an introductory level and so you do not need any prior knowledge of creative or lateral thinking, just a curiosity about it and a willingness to try things out. To benefit from this course you need to have a good level of spoken English. If you are unsure, please see an advisor.
The course is highly participative and interactive and will involve lots of exercises in pairs and small groups as well as class discussions. The ethos of the workshop is that creative thinking is something that should be coached rather than taught. You will be encouraged to think outside your normal parameters of thinking and take risks with your thinking.
There will be no additional costs. The course fee will cover a number of specially-produced handouts.
