Rep theatre

The Rep Company was set up to train a company of actors to produce work of the highest professional standard, providing a platform for its members to hone their skills and display their talents. Directors, teachers and practitioners are invited and engaged to facilitate.

Its members are made up of a combination of graduates from City Lit's advanced / professional Drama Dance & Speech courses, and experienced practitioners who wish to further their experience with us. We hold annual auditions in order to find, encourage and support new talent.

We have awarded associate status to a number of actors who have produced an excellent body of work with the company.

All company members are eligible for the three productions staged a year and are invited if appropriate to professional castings that are occasionally held here on site at the Lit.

The next auditions to join the Rep company are on the 20th & 21st July 2009. Successful applicants will be invited to audition for the first show.
