Train to gain for employers

If you are an employer, you may be able to train your staff at no cost through the government’s Train to Gain scheme.

At City Lit, this funding can be used for training in:
  • Childcare - NVQ level 3
  • Health and social care  - NVQ level 2
  • Supporting the development needs of vulnerable people - level 2 VRQ (vocationally related qualification) certificate
  • British Sign Language  - NVQ level 3
     
The benefits to your organisation
The training is focused on the needs of you and your employees, giving your team the confidence, ability and motivation to do their job well. Your organisation can benefit from a more highly skilled workforce, increased staff retention and reduced recruitment costs, and a better service for your clients.

We offer:
  • Free training to help employees gain their first Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Training delivered at your premises to suit your needs. Some courses are delivered at City Lit in Covent Garden
  • A contribution to wage costs for companies with 50 or fewer employers to cover the cost of the time spent in training
  • Subsidised courses, where free training is not available. Please contact us for more information on fees and we will talk you through the options.
