Art & Design Foundation Diploma
Attendance onto the Art & Design Foundation Diploma course is based on an in-person interview with a member of the teaching staff.
We take students in on the course subject to interview at different starting points in the year, January, September and if the work is very advanced occasionally in April. If the course is full at the time of interview we will place you on the next available intake which might be one or even two terms ahead.
At this time we do not have any available interview times.
Please call the Visual Arts department on 0207 492 2700/2703 to submit your contact details and we will notify you when the next interview date is arranged.
For more information about the course, please read the two documents attached to this page:

General letter outlining the course.
For those attending an interview, please bring with you a sketchbook/ sketchpad full of personal ideas and evidence of research, such as gallery and museums visits. You will also be required to bring in a portfolio containing examples of any art work you have made, which can include drawings, painting, ceramics (or photographs of larger pieces), sketchbooks, textiles, photographs and any work you have done in previous art classes. This does not have to be vast amounts of work but just examples of your current abilities. If you are bringing any digital work (animation, video etc.), please bring your own laptop.
The interview is 20 minutes long + there is a writing skills test, which will take roughly 20 minutes to compose.
No applicant will be interviewed if they arrive without a portfolio of work.
We look forward to meeting you.
