This was a fascinating look at why there are so many and so varied churches in East Anglia today. It would spoil it to say - you have to enroll and find out. One thing is for certain: a creative writing class would find material for dozens of historical novels with personal rivalries, changing fashions, giant egos, big business and extraordinary feats of construction to turn into complicated plots with casts of thousands.

The tutor was excellent, providing great background information leading into the subject of the churches themselves. The environment and history means a great deal to the reasons the churches were built.
