Excellent materials provided on course. Teacher was both attentive and managed to remain focused on the aims of the day. She gave me good encouragement.

This taster course was great - I was really impressed by what we all were able to make in just a few hours, from knowing nothing. I'm now eyeing up the longer courses that the City Lit runs. I only gave 4 for Enjoyment, though, because the papers provided for the book covers were so unattractive.

I truly enjoyed this one day Taster course in bookbinding. No previous experience (other than a mad love for paper in all its forms!) and yet I walked away with 2 samples of what a good teacher and a bit of patience can put together. A must if you are a paper lover, whether it's the start of a career or just a way to have fun for one day.

I thought I wanted to learn bookbinding; now I know I do.
The course combined information with practical exercises, from which we could take away finished work, which was very satisfying.
It concentrated a great deal into just one day.
