The Book art course really made me think about the different ways to use a book format as a piece of art as well as it being a functional item. I learnt various tecniques and the teaching was exemplary. I was shown how to make 5 different structures that could be adapted or built upon. The course did not expect prior knowledge and the tutor demonstrated how to create items using basic equipment we can use at home. Overall the course was well planned and taught. I definitely recommend this course as an interesting introduction to bookbinding in general and the art of the book in particular.

Inspired me to invest and imagine new ways of producing artists' books.

The tutor explained techniques which provided the basis for further inventions of one's own. The pace of lessons was exactly right, neither slow or nor fast, not over-perscriptive nor too lax. At the end of the course I had five different books and the means to produce more of them.
