Through ongoing tutor demonstrations and the experience of making, you will develop an understanding of how this process works. You will learn how to manipulate clay to create bowls, jugs and vases. For those with some experience there is the chance to develop ideas further, as well as refreshing your skills.
The main focus of the course is learning the techniques of throwing, including clay preparation, refining forms and generating ideas for work on the wheel.
Beginners:

The course is open to anyone interested in using the potter's wheel.
