I've been to another pottery evening course in London, but this one is the best. The teacher is great for budding and intermediate potters and your first term will give you all of the basic skills to continue on if you wish -and you will. The class is relaxed and fun with a range of friendly people from whom to ask advice/learn. I'm nearing the end of my third term in this class and achieving things that are both functional and visually appealing.
It's a great release at the end of a hard and frustrating day at work.
If you're curious about this course I'd say "go on- sign up". You'll not regret it.

I really enjoyed this course, I have never done any pottery before, but the class was friendly with beginners like myself and people who have been going for a while. What I most enjoyed was being able to create my own work, and see your acheivements. Our tutor was excellent - very relaxed atmosphere.

I have done the Wednesday evening ceramics course for several terms now - and I keep coming back. Why? Well it is a real chance to get rid of the stresses of the week, particularly as you wedge the clay - thumping it to get rid of air bubbles. Playing with clay is very therapeutic and it is amazing how your creative side will come out.
The students who take the course are all very friendly and those with more experience are always willing to help any new students out. You have a choice of whether to do your own thing or get tutored through making a variety of pieces. There is no pressure to make things, you can experiment to your heart's content. Help is always on hand every step of the way, which is very reassuring. Only problem the course is very popular so make sure you book your place soon!!
