Starting from scratch, work through an idea exploring line, form, colour and overall composition.
Work on balancing these components of a drawing or a painting and develop your sketches and drawings into an effective finished work.
Taking an idea through several different processes and methods of drawing to a considered and finished piece of work. On the way we will make use of line drawing from observation, tone drawing and experiment with colour and composition in drawing/painting.
- Use line drawing, tonal drawing and form in relation to painting
- Use a variety of drawing materials
- Begin to understand how to use and mix colour
- Plan a composition from an idea to a finished work.
- Have an understanding of how to balance the elements that go to make up a finished painting/drawing.
All levels – from beginner to improver.
