Throughout the year there will be a series of talks from well-known film makers. They will present and contextualise examples of their film work and invite contributions and questions from the audience. This is a unique experience to enhance your own professional development in film-making.
The different film makers will represent a range of professional contemporary practice including, documentary, narrative and experimental forms and approaches. The talk will be determined by the Film maker but will offer the opportunity to gain an awareness of the decisions and processes involved in determining the form and content of a specific film-makers work. You will also have an opportunity to find out about the process of gaining funding and how this impacts on the process of film making.
