Excellent course - given it a four on content simply because it was a lot to cover in a short time but the content was brilliantly delivered, very supportive and constructive teaching and a really fun way to spend two saturdays.

Not what I expected so the course description should be changed. The tutor introduced us to some basic practical techniques using charcoal that gave us the confidence and ability to each produce a finished drawing that surpassed my expectations. Come prepared (in dark clothes)to listen to good ideas, advice and encouragement, achieve and enjoy yourself.

The teaching on this course was clear and relevant. The material and exercises were chosen well and suited the level of the participants well. My only quibble was that there seemed to be a lot of paperwork and admin to get through at the start of the course. The tutor was imaginative and structured his material very well while giving helpful advice and direction. I really enjoyed my two days in the studio.
