This course aims to extend the experience of drawing through the use of line, tone, texture, shape and form, with traditional materials (pencils, charcoal, pastels), to the use and manipulation of mixed-media such as collage, paint, paper structures and wire. You will be encouraged to respond in an expressive and creative way. Projects may be interpreted in either an abstract or more literal manner.
The course may appeal to anyone interested in mixed-media drawing, but also suggests common links with fine art, sculpture and textiles.
