Any apprehensions about the level of one's drawing ability when copying a picture in the National Gallery soon vanish under the enthusiastic and skifull guidance of the teaching. This enabled one to look at these pictures with insights and perceptions and in a whole new and exciting way. Each session focussed on a different aspect such as composition, form etc and the drawing too examined these subjects separately each week. I can not recommend the course too strongly. It was so enlightening and so much fun! My only criticism is that it could easily have been a 10 week course instead of one of just 5 weeks.

Our tutor was inspiring, very well-informed and responded to our different areas of interest. The course was well-structured and offered an interesting way to engage with different ideas in representation as well as ideas and approaches on how to explore these through drawing. In addition the group was great.

Task given was challenging and inspiring. I like the way she gave us the homework. For me, good to draw in public in a group as I'm scared of doing so by myself. I would love to take up another course again.
