The course focuses on how visual elements function in altering the content and meaning of work, and how these can be deployed to control the mood and impact of an image. Talks and practical work combine to allow you to explore this in the drawings you make from observation.

This is a course for experienced students. It will not teach you how to draw but rather how to manipulate images through drawing. You should have already completed Drawing Continued or similar.
You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions, demonstrations, hand-outs and health and safety information, and will be invited to take part in group discussion.
