Our enthusiastic tutor encouraged experimentation in a non-threatening way, giving me confidence to try new ideas. We drew inspiration from our surroundings, sketching in Covent Garden and the British Museum. By working with different media (including ink, charcoal and pastels) I produced the beginnings of a colourful and striking sketchbook and I look forward to developing it. I would recommend it to everyone - especially those, who like me, struggle with getting started.
