I loved this course. The group was small and very friendly – I think it being on a Friday night helped people feel sociable. The teaching was great and it definitely made me want to do more drawing.

Excellent course, really good balance between directed tasks and encouraging you to explore your own style. Suitable for beginners or those with some experience. Materials all provided, and the models were great too.

This was a very enjoyable course, which really helped to develop my the range and proficiency of my drawing. Some of the tasks were quite challenging but the tutor was very supportive and helped me move out of my comfort zone.

Excellent course. The tutor was fab. Everyone liked him and his style and lots of us wanted the course to go on for the whole year. Very sad that it ended at Xmas and [the tutor] if not doing another course!

I loved every minute of the course . I needed guidance and to know how to get started with life drawing , the building blocks ,.. and that is just what I got ,with a lovely atmosphere and no fear thrown in !! The tutor gave gentle guidance and made me feel empowered . Wonderful course !!!!!

The teaching was very encouraging and supportive for all abilities. A wide range of approaches and media were used which took me out of my comfort zone, but which opened up others ways of working.

I have been life drawing since the late '50's. In that time I have experienced 2 excellent courses. This has been a third! It was well structured, building up over its course to a fitting conclusion. The teaching was sympathetic, positive and sensitive to students' needs. It was great fun having old habits (even if good ones), challenged! Have come away with new approaches that will be very useful in future.
Regrets? Would have loved to have had whole days with some of the individual projects!
I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone.
