This course introduces you to a range of digital media and outlines the possibilities available in Final Cut Studio Suite. You'll see examples and have a go at creating a sequence using one aspect of Final Cut Studio.

This course is for beginners but you will be expected to have some basic knowledge of computers.
You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions to support demonstrations, hand-outs and for health and safety information, and will be invited to take part in group discussion. You should be able to use numbers and be able to do simple measurements and calculations.
Please look at the rest of the course outline carefully to decide if you may benefit from support in your English and Maths skills to help you to take part fully in this class.
Each student has their own computer. Presentations will be made using computers, an overhead screen and printed notes. Step-by-step instruction, with demonstrations where appropriate, will help you grasp the concepts.
