Waiting lists for full courses

City Lit courses are very popular and you may find that the course you'd like to take is fully booked. City Lit uses waiting lists for full courses to capture expressions of interest from students.

How to join a waiting list
To join a waiting list, simply find the relevant course on this website and enter your name and contact details where prompted. You can also contact the department running the course. Waiting lists are not held for courses that require an interview before enrolment.

What happens if a place becomes available?
If a place becomes available, we endeavour to contact those on the waiting list and the place will be available on a 'first come first served' basis.

However, this website is updated every 15 minutes with course place availability and therefore you are strongly advised to check it regularly*, in addition to adding your name to a waiting list. There is no guarantee that we will be able to contact those on the waiting list before someone enrols online.

Why join a waiting list?
Adding your name to the waiting list has the additional benefit that if extra dates are arranged you will be contacted and offered a place. We may also be able to suggest alternative options.
