A one day course for the qualified reflexologist where you can discover the wonderful benefits that can be offered to your clients through their cancer journey. Explore the role of reflexology in home, hospice and hospital through case history and the personal experience of the tutor. Gain an overview of cancer, its treatment and side effects. Learn how to be inventive and creative in your approach to clients in order to offer best practice.
There will be a hands-on session where you can practice adapting technique to follow guidelines for palliative care and reflexology.

If accepted onto a course, a student could be given alternative practical tasks and adjustments may be made where reasonable. However, a student could be asked to leave the course if any situation were to arise which could endanger the well being of that student, or any other student. It is for instance not suitable to work on another student, if you are taking medication that affects your concentration or if you have uncontrolled fits which could cause a danger to others during a relevant activity.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
